What each part does on the S58 engine

The downpipe is the first section of exhaust after the turbo. Every exhaust gas leaving the engine goes through it, so it is a key part of the system. The S58 is a twin-turbo engine, so it has two turbos and two downpipes. The KHH listings are sold as downpipes for the car, so read the product page to see exactly what comes in the box.

The midpipe joins the downpipe to the rear of the system. It runs under the middle of the car. On the G80 and G82 it is the next step after the downpipes, and it is listed on its own for each car.

How to choose: one part or the full system

Start with the downpipes if you want to change the first part of the system. They are the lowest priced items on the list and they are sold on their own. Add the midpipe when you want to change the middle section as well.

Choose the full system when you want every section to match. The downpipes, midpipe and exhaust are separate products, so you can order them together or add the next part later. Each part is priced on its own, and you pay no delivery fee on any of them.

What to check before you order

  1. Exact chassis and years. Open the product page and read the Fits list. Match your chassis code and model years to it before you buy. The M3 and M4 have their own listings, so pick the one for your car. At the moment the exhaust is listed for the M3 G80 only.
  2. Tune. A tune may be needed after a downpipe, and some cars show a check-engine light without one.
  3. Road or track. Some parts are for road use and some are for off-road and track use only. Check the rules where you drive.
