What each part does on the 4.0 TFSI engine

The downpipe is the first section of exhaust after the turbo. Every exhaust gas leaving the engine goes through it, so it is a key part of the system. The 4.0 TFSI is a twin-turbo engine, so it has two turbos and the downpipes serve both.

The RS6 and RS7 share the same engine but have separate listings, so choose the one for your body style. The RS6 C8 and RS7 C8 downpipes are priced the same. KHH does not list a midpipe or an exhaust for these cars today.

  2. Tune. A tune may be needed after a downpipe, and some cars show a check-engine light without one.
  3. Road or track. Some parts are for road use and some are for off-road and track use only. Check the rules where you drive.
